WOW - Women on Wednesdays

When: Wednesdays (weekly) 10-11.45am

Where: In Crabb Hall upstairs at Christ Church

Who: All women welcome. Led by Rita and Angela.

What: WOW is a day-time Life Group, open to all women of any age. We meet during term time upstairs in Crabb hall in Christ Church for coffee and more. There’s worship and prayer, and a discussion around Bible passages as we explore a particular theme or a book in the Bible, so just come along, whether you’re new to faith or whether you’ve been on your Christian journey for a long time.  Come and make new friends and be encouraged and supported.  We start the autumn session on 6th September.

St James

When: Thursdays (weekly) 8.15-9.45pm

Where: Hilbert Close

Who: We’re a mixed age group. Led by Nick and Rachel

What: We’re a mixed age group, building one another up as God’s people in the world. We share how we are, read the Bible usually with the church’s questions, and pray and we’ve seen God mightily move in one another’s lives.

Pilgrims

When: Thursdays (fortnightly) 8-9.30pm

Where: Linden Park Road or Rodean Heights

Who: We are multi-age but most members are middle aged and working. There are a few older members. Led by Ted, Roger & Wendy

What: We are a diverse group with close friendships, where people are free to say what they want. We spend time enjoying each other's company, praying, and either studying a book in the Bible or answering Christ Church questions. We keep in regular, prayerful contact with the lives and needs of each other and have a concern for the needs of the wider world. We enjoy socialising. We cherish being a group which, because of its history, includes a few members from churches other than Christ Church. This adds an additional flavour and richness.
