The Christ Church At Home is a chance to come back together as a church family after the summer and to refocus on our vision for the year ahead. We will also be explaining what’s happening with Life Groups and how to make sure that everyone is plugged in to the CC community. Come on time for coffee and pudding. So organise your babysitters and get it into your diaries!
On 7th July, after the morning service, we’d love to welcome any who are relatively new to Christ Church to join us for drinks. It’s a great chance to get to know the staff team, find out about getting involved in church life and meet some others. If you’d like to join us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. Hope to see you there!
Hospitality Sunday on 30th June is a day to invite someone from church for lunch. Perhaps someone you don’t know very well; a family you’ve been meaning to spend some time with; or someone new to church who you’d like to connect with. Tim & Jan, Gordon & Sarah and Andy & Naomi will all be opening their homes – would you think about joining us to open your home and be a host too? Once you’ve invited someone for lunch on 30th, please let the church office know, so we can keep track of how many people are being connected. Let’s be committed to being community together. Invitations are available from the Welcome Desk so that you can be a host and invite someone!

By connecting with groups such as New Wine, Big Church Day out, The Gathering and David’s Tent, we get to be part of something bigger than just CC! Here we meet with others from all over, who share our vision and values but who also stretch our faith and challenge us to a deeper love for God, our world and community.
The APCM is a wonderful opportunity to look back and celebrate some of what God has done in the past year and also to elect our PCC and church wardens. These will be the people who we feel God is calling to help lead us into all that He has in store for Christ Church in the coming year. There will be the option of a Veggie Tales DVD for kids in Crabb Hall, and they are welcome to bring a packed lunch.
If you want to vote in the elections you’ll need to be a member of the church’s electoral roll. Click here to sign up.
