The difference we’ll make together

The Kingdom Building is about preparing CCTW for the generations ahead. We are updating and expanding our facilities to create a welcoming, fit-for-purpose space for both our church family and the wider local community.

Here are some ideas you could do to raise money in aid of the project:

Individuals:

  • Sponsored challenge: Run, walk, or cycle a set distance.

  • Skill share: Offer baking, gardening, or odd jobs for a donation.

  • Advent give-up: Donate the cost of your daily coffee or treat.

Families & kids:

  • Sponsored read/walk: Simple, trackable goals for children.

  • Coins in a jar: Collect spare change throughout November and December.

  • Christmas bake sale: Host a mini sale after a Sunday service.

Home groups:

  • Quiz or games night: Charge a small entry fee and host snacks.

  • Carols & mince pies: Invite neighbours and take a collection.

  • Group challenge: Combine efforts for a shared sponsored goal.

Workplace & local

  • Matched giving: Check if your employer matches charity gifts.

  • Christmas card stand: Sell homemade cards or wreaths.

  • Office festive day: Host a Christmas jumper or coffee morning event.

Planning an Event? Keep it safe & simple

To keep everyone safe and supported, please follow these quick guidelines for any public or group activity:

  • Check in with the team once you've signed up for a challenge or set a date for your event. We’d love to support you.

    Remember because you’re raising money ‘in aid’ of CCTW it’s worth checking out the advice on the GOV.UK website and if you’ve got any questions, however big or small, just let us know.

  • This is a great opportunity to invite your friends, family and colleagues to find out about the impact this project will have on the local community.

    We’d suggest setting up an online fundraising page with Zeffy as CCTW will get 100% of every donation.


  • Donating raised funds: If you're not using an online fundraising platform like Zeffy and collecting cash, we’d suggest always having two people count any money and that CCTW receives all the donations within 14 days after an event.
