Emotionally Healthy Sprituality course
'It’s impossible to be spiritually mature, while remaining emotionally immature.’ Many of us continue to struggle with the same challenges over and over in our relationships with Jesus. This can often be due to deeply ingrained lies and habits that we’re not even aware of. The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality course helps individuals to reflect on the deepest parts of who they are, and gives us tools to bring those lies and habits to Jesus for transformation.
About the course:
‘Pete Scazzero learned the hard way: You can’t be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Though he was an experienced pastor of a growing church, his life and faith remained emotionally unhealthy. Like so many in the church, he routinely:
- avoided healthy conflict in the name of keeping the peace
- ignored and suppressed emotions
- used work for God as an excuse to run from God
- lived without limits
In this course, Peter and his wife, Geri, help you unpack core biblical principals to guide you into an experience of lasting, beneath-the-surface transformation in your relationship with Christ.
When:
This intensive course will run for 6 weeks in May and June on Tuesday evenings with daily preparative reading to do before each session. The course will cost £25 to cover costs of materials and there are 30 spaces with participants expected to attend at least 5 out of 6 sessions. This event is now fully booked and all tickets are sold out.
Dates:
9th May
16th May
23rd May
6th June
13th June
20th June
2 additional sessions will run on 27th June and 4th July.
